Vicenza Youth Services

The Mission of Child and Youth Services is to: Enhance readiness and well being by reducing the conflict between mission and parental responsibilities. Facilitate family self-reliance and reinforce Army values. Ensure availability of predictable programs and services for eligible children and youths ages four weeks to 18 years. Maintain affordability of child and youth programs for both patrons and the Army through researching metrics, operational efficiencies and seamless service delivery. Establish and sustain CYS program quality as a “benchmark for the Nation” in accordance with statutory requirements, DOD policy and Army standards.

Youth Sponsorship

Military communities are famous for relocating every few years. It’s a tough time for everyone, leaving somewhere familiar for lands unknown. Youth Sponsorship is all about making the transitions easier and less stressful. Whether you’re new to Vicenza, Italy, or PCSing to a new location, we’re here to help.

Youths new to Vicenza, Italy can feel at home right away through our Youth Sponsorship Program.  The ACS Relocation Assistance Program in conjunction with Youth Services provides individualized Youth Welcome Packets.  Certified youth sponsors are matched with newcomers to show him/her around our facilities and introduce him/her to everyone and make them feel welcome.  We are willing to answer your questions, and help you meet some of your peers and establish friendships before you even get here.  Email address is:

at Building 308 to use the Vicenza Youth Centers.
