Central Processing Facility

The Central Processing Facility is a one-stop shop for newcomers to Caserma Ederle in Vicenza and the smaller facilities we support. The CPF is where you can get an ID card, check on your household goods and POV shipment, take the drivers’ orientation course and driving test, get a ration card, apply for a Soggiorno (Italian-resident visa) and more. When preparing to go to the CPF, it is advisable to bring a folder containing copies of your travel orders and any amendments, transportation paperwork, POV shipment and other PCS paperwork. During the height of PCS season, you may have to wait to access the various services. Daily hours can vary. Please see the list below for specifics.
